Hello

I'm Janiah, a senior at Cosby High School and an Ambassador Girl Scout with Troop 152.  My Girl Scout journey began in pre-kindergarten when I joined as a Daisy, and I've proudly remained a member for 14 years. Through dedication and hard work, I have earned both my Bronze and Silver Awards, and I'm now working on achieving the Gold Award, the highest honor in Girl Scouts.

For my Gold Award project, I chose to focus on body shaming awareness, an issue that affects so many people, especially teens.  I believe that education is the key to stopping body shaming --- when we know better, we do better.  My goal is to bring awareness to middle and high school students, helping them understand the importance of kindness and respect.  Join me at the "No BS Allowed!" workshop to learn, share, and take a stand against body shaming.  Together, we can build a body-positive community and break the cycle of shame.  Body shaming has no place here --only kindness and respect!
